thats Ghost not Roast Image

what is it

looks like a second waveform behind my main waveform but its louder (taller) and transparent (think 50%) opacity.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere and i think its new to 10.0.3

thanks

It's been there since the very beginning. In prefs, turn it on and off. It's the "reference waveform". It simply shows you the waveform sort of normalized as a references, so that even when the levels are very low, or at zero, you still have a reference for what would be happening auditory wise with that clip. Let's say I need to line up a bang in a composite with a replacement SFX also. I have that set "bang" waveform as well as the visual of the clip to help line it up with the SFX and enhanced muzzle flash clip.
