Quick lighting solution?

Hello folks,

I am about to shoot a short film soon, but I don't have a lighting kit yet. But, I would like to light the scene using normal lighting.

What would be the most economic way of lighting a scene using normal lights. What sort of lamps would I have to use?

I think Robert Rodgriguez used some practicals on 'El Mariachi', but those blow up very easy if we are not careful, right?

What do you guys suggest?

Until I buy the lights, or what sort of cheap lighting kit can I use? I am planning in buying some Briteks, but haven't found any dealer in the uk.

So, what do you guys suggest?

Thanks in advance

Fidel.

Hi Arcburn,

I saw your clip a while a go, and I quite liked the lighting.

Thanks for the suggestion.

All the best

Fidel.

You can actually get some pretty good results. It just takes some experimentation.

Hope this helps

Yes, I just want to use something quick before I get my lighting kit.

I guess, I will experiment with those

Thanks again

Fidel.
