Quick export question

Forgive my FCP newb question, but I did search, and read the manual to no avail.

How do I export a portion of a sequence? Can I select a couple of clips and export via QT just those selected, and not the entire sequence?

Ben Prb knows a better way but if you take the clip from the sequence and just drag it to the bin. you can load it in the viewer or another sequence and export it. U might just be able to right click on the the clip in the sequence and export. Sorry I'm not on my machine right now.

Mark In and Out points on the timeline. Then with the timeline active/highlighted use the Export function.
