Quick cineform question...

Ok - so I've successfully converted all my m2t files to cineform (via importing ad exporting with intermediate templates) and have imported them into my project. Playback is much improved and all clips loaded without a vegas choke! Before I started the project, just wanted to make sure of a few things:

1) Do I have to do anything else - or can I just edit away with cineform avi's and then export project to my desired format (DVD 24p Widescreen in this case) or is there anything I have to do before final render?

2) Do I need to keep the m2t files for any reason other than backup?

Thanks for the help - the transition to HDV hasn't been too bad!

Great to hear your over HDV "heartburn". You can keep the m2T or not. The Cineform codec claims and appears to be superior. Edit in Vegas and export using the DV 24p Widescreen template for use in DVD Architect for conventional DVD production. You can also export to a Windows WMV file in 1280 x 720 for computer HD playback and projection.

Best regards,

S Cannon
