Questions about use of LCD lights (vidled)

Light isn't about just controlling color although that's certainly a big thing. Boiled down its about creative use of light and shadow to render a pseudo 3D result in a 2d medium. Which is the same thing a painting is by the way. Controlling light many times involves being very careful about what falls where. In the ideal, no unplanned light would hit anywhere you don't want it to be. Starting with the dark room and lighting each individual element is a common method of doing this. In this way, you make sure that one light isn't spilling on something else that you don't want it to be.

Hi Ozduc:

No, I have not put up a page (yet) on how to build your own Kinos from scratch. I am hoping to do it soon but work has been crazy.

Best,

Dan
