I was hoping to hear everyone's favorite cinematography/editing techniques. I am looking for examples of unique and creative ways filmmakers can tell their stories. This can be material you've seen in music videos, movies, commercials, TV or your own techniques!
Examples are:
Guy Ritchie's quick cutting technique in "Snatch", cool split-screens (ie the split screen merge in "Rules of Attraction"), David Fincher's unique flying camera as seen in "Fight Club" and "Panic Room", etc., etc.
Thanks!
