Question to DVD Architect

I made a DVD-Video with DVD Architect. The video is sometimes jerky when I play it on DVD player, but when I play it with software DVD player on PC, everything is smooth. Where could be the problem? High bitrate (the starting setting in DVD Architect is 8 Mbit/s) or bad DVD player?

A bitrate above 80000000 can give some players problems, yes. Can also be that home-burned discs are still not 100% compatible with all players.

My DVD player has no problem with home-burned discs.
I tried to lower the bitrate from 8 Mbit/s to 6 Mbit/s and there is no difference...
Is there something else I can do? (Change some settings, use another software... ?)

No player is 100% compatible with all home-burned discs. Looks like that might be the issue here.

Do you have access to another player to try it on?

Unfortunately no, but I use only Verbatim discs. And every home-burned videos are ok (DVD-Videos, divxs etc.), except DVD-Videos created in DVD Architect.
