Question on Xeon Processors.

Iam looking to get a new computer and wanted to know what is the difference between a Xeon, P4 3mhz with Hyper Threading and dual core processors. Dell seems to have some good deals on the P4 3.2mhz HT with a gig of ram. Is it worth the cost to have a Xeon processor or what? Thanks:undecided

Hyper Threading is using ONE PROCESSOR:

Hyper-Threading is an Intel® technology that can enhance overall performance by allowing one physical microprocessor to function as two logical microprocessors, capable of performing certain tasks simultaneously.

Dull Processors are of course 2 ACTUAL PROCESSORS

I'm using Hyperthreading and am satisfied. My machine is fast.

John, what type of system are you using? What processor? Ram, ect?
