Question on Rycote Windshield kits

I'm going to invest in a Rycote Windshield kit for my Sennheiser 416 mic. I will be using the mic in very windy conditions. I'm looking at B&H and I'm not sure if I should get the specific kit for the 416 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/770026-REG/Rycote_86009_Windshield_Kit_295.html or get the more universal kit that also fits the 416 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/322534-REG/Rycote_086001_Windshield_Kit_4.html I'm wondering about potential resale later, the Kit 4 being more universal. Does anyone have any of these kits or have an opinion on which one you'd get? I'm new to these things. Gracias.

I would go for the Kit-4, this is what Rycote recommend.

If you change your mic. the kit can easily be changed by adding extensions.

It seems as if Rycote have been persuaded to make a slightly shorter windshield specially for the old 416 (though I would not buy a new 416 nowadays, I would get an MKH 8060).

The slightly longer length of the Kit-4 will actually give you slightly better wind protection.

Personally I can't see any advantage in getting the special shorter version, really.
