Question on rendering speed...

I took a screenshot of the page about virtual memory to make sure I was doing it correctly. I changed it to look like this

after I was told not to have any virtual memory.

Maybe someone could tell me if I am doing this correctly?
 
Yes, that's correct setting for no virtual memory.

Running off USB external drive is EXTREAMLY SLOW, that's probably where your problems is. Also it looks like you only have one harddrive, getting a second one or more to run a Raid 0 would be great help for the HD stuff
