Question on render area bar and HDTV video jerkiness

I exported a sequence into H.264 HDTV 1080p 24fps format with the render area bar fitting the exact length of the sequence and encountered a jerky video display. However, when I extend the render area bar about a minute beyond the end of the sequence, the video display was smooth and normal. Is there any explanation why this is happening? Thanks for the inputs!

Hi Ann, I have already compared both - one with a fitting render bar and the other with an extended render bar. The fitting render bar results in a jerky video, for the whole length of the sequence. If I extend the right end of the bar (instead of snapping it to the end of the sequence) just a little bit, then export, the video turns out smooth and normal.

You need more that one export with the fitted bar to compare: but you did three.
Dont know why its different.

Yes, I tried exporting a few times with the render bar snapped to the ends of my sequence, and always got the same jerky video results. I hope someone could throw some light on why this is happening.
