Hello,
I wanted to know if anyone has done any comparison tests or happens to know if capturing in premiere has a different quality than fcp. I'm talking about just straight up capturing from my camera (dvx) to the program, no exporting. I use premiere cs3 and it brings in an avi file to the time line capturing as DV NTSC. Is the quality of this greater or worse or the same as capturing with fcp which brings in mov's to the library i believe? I'm basically just looking for the best method of capturing video from a camera keeping the highest possible quality.
Any help would be great
Thanks,
Chris
