Thanks! I do not take compliments well :-/ People say "I love your painting!" and I'm thinking "It's **** I tell you!". I'm humble.
Writing 2 different screenplays when I have time and inspiration (I hate to write but love to have written...).
I have 'played and experimented' enough with the DVX that its time to make films. I want to start doing small short films and get them on Triggerstreet (which I think is a kick ass community of opinions) and the big one is I am looking for a 'partner' that is geared towards Producing/Writing/Acting that will leave the Directing/Dp work up to me (Yeah, I know. Everyone wants to direct) as Im not in the mood to share that responsibilty.
Too bad all you guys live EVERYWHERE but San Diego. :-/
A few of you know my current REAL LIFE situation (Imagine having a business partner and then that person doing the cardinal sin of business partner doings; this situation has been amended by the way) but this episode derailed some plans (DVXUNLEASHED for example) as it warranted some serious attention.
Anyhow, thats where I am at currently. Lookinf for a 2nd half to the equation to Produce, Act and help Write and hold Mic and bounce cards and.......
I wish there were more people that lived in my side of michigan.. it gets kinda lonesome for a filmmaker...you have to make your opportunities b/c there sure isn't any around here

Once you shoot a pine tree you've got the whole state!!
;D

Point of reference question, John... The quick editing makes it feel almost hand held, but in looking again, are there ANY handheld shots on the roof? Or is it all tripod and crane?
Do you guys try never to shoot without some sort of support?
