Question concerning stabilizing a shot in a 25p timeline?

Hi all,

I'm having trouble with a shot That is too shaky for broadcast. Would like to know how I can keep the progressive cadence on a DVCPRO HD 1080 25p timeline.

After applying smoothcam (from FCP), the filter adds a very odd "middle frame" to the footage, bluring between frames... It stabilizes beautifuly, and looks good on interlaced footage, but looks terrible on my 25p footage...

Any suggestions? Or a different plugin?
