question about youTube embedding

Hi guys, haven't posted in a long while but I'm always telling people about the wealth of knowledge on this site.

A video that infringes on my copyrighted material was posted on youtube. I had them take it down using their copyright form. Now the same video (or different upload of the same) is embedded on the original offender's personal site, still hosted by youtube, but when I click the video to get the url (which i need to report), it links to youtube where it says "this video has been disabled due to copyright"...

any thoughts?
 
It's just the video title with a cached thumbnail. Even very old videos that were taken down still appears as embedded. I'm not sure you can do much about it.

I wonder why it's such a problem if the video was already taken down.
