tell me if this is the best way to add sound effects/music as well as doing my sound design/tweaks to the dialogue for a film i'm working on.
when i send my FCP sequence to STP as a multitrack project i have four tracks of audio. I've added some sound effects (body hits for punches, etc) on a separate track and about to add some music, then i'm going to export the mix and import that audio clip back into my FCP sequence.
if i want to edit the dialogue portion of my STP multi project - how do i do that? do i have to edit each individual track?
or do i select all four tracks and create an audio project? and if i do that, once i save my work will it be destructive not allowing me to come back and make changes or adjustments?
i've stopped until i figure out what to do because i don't want to screw anything up to the point where i have to do anymore video editing, importing raw footage all over again into fcp, etc.
