Question about the velocity envelope in vegas

Hi I just recently got a Canon hv30 and I've been recording on it with the shutter speed set on 1/2000. But for some reason every time I try bringing the velocity down to 25% in vegas it is still a little choppy. However I'm able to watch it on the hv30 in slow motion and its completely flawless (and I'd say it's about 25% of the speed on the hv30, if not lower). Please let me know how to get this working smoothly =D
 
I also just tried capturing it while I'm playing it in slow motion on the camera and it still looked flawless on the camera, but in vegas it's still choppy =/
 
Have you actually rendered the velocity-changed footage and watched the output? It might just be the preview (unrendered) output that's choppy.
