Question about the Letus35

I believe I have the original letus35.

When I have the letus35 attached with a canon 50mm lens....with a magnet on the side of the LCD to flip the image.....it seems my image is in an opposite side.

For instance, when i face the dvx and compose a shot so a small box would be on the left side....the letus35 somehow makes the box on the right.

Is this what putting a 35mm lens on a letus35 suppose to do?

yes this is what it does , the images are flipped and flopped. the only way to correct it ,is in post.

go into your dvx's menu, and in display setup there is an option for self shoot, either "normal" or "mirror", make suer it's at normal not mirror. when the magnet it looks just how it should, that is on the lcd. you still have to flip it in post.

atleast that's how it is with a dvc30, i'm sure it's very similar with a dvx100.
