Hey I just have a quick question for anyone who owns the Davis & Sanford Provista Grounder 18 tripod. Does the head remove from the half ball and have a flat base like on Manfrotto 501 heads or is it all one piece like Sachtlers and other high end heads?
I was thinking of getting one to leave my zaza slider on. I would put the half ball on the slider and the head on the shuttle, then I can free up my "good" head to go back and forth between the Davis sticks or my Libec sticks.
Also is the camera plate compatable with any other brands like Manfrotto or Libec?
