Question about Photoshop...

There is an image that I want to use but every time I cut out the background and save it, I still get a white box behind the cut-out picture. I want to cut the image out and apply it to a Powerpoint but I am not sure how without getting the white box behind it? This is the image in question:

I'd imagine I have to make the background transparent or something? I would image it's about 2 minutes of work. Even if someone can just do it for me, that'd be freakin' awesome.

You should first crop the pic to cut out the box from the pic, then remove the blue background... that should do it.

It also depends on the format you save it in. I think some formats (like tiff) may put the white background in, while others (png) don't.

That's your most valuable bit of advice. If you want to get anything converted to a clean plate, open a new file with a transparent background... then paste your desired object onto that from another open file... then save as .png

Done.

Ever? Better than the time I told you not to put your beer on that cop's motorcycle? Or the time I told you that shampoo is a poor choice for a laxative? Better than that time when I told you my mom won't go to third base on the first date?

Really?
