Hi, i would be interested in buying a computer prebuilt desktop for editing video in 1080 HD in Adobe Premiere. I'm hesitating between a Ryzen 7 7200 (3.2 Ghz) or i7 9700k (3.6 Ghz). There is a 300$ difference.
I would like to know if it's worth investing for editing 1080HD
Thanks in advance,

Speed shortens render times, and memory and speed make complex video sequences smooth. The processor speed is OK for HD, so maybe spend the money on the graphics card, which is more important as onboard processing there relieves pressure on the main CPU. check out adobe's list of graphics cards.

I do not recommend AMD for video. I have always, without exception, regretted going with AMD. I have never regretted an i7.

For HD 1080 an old intel i7 is more than enough. Invest in fast graphics card (NVIDIA 1080 will do easy) and fast SSD's.
Consider Davinci, you don't need a hefty processor but a good graphics card. And for speed use SSD M2 Ram, insane fast and only a bit more expensive.

Funny, I wholeheartedly recommend AMD for video, especially the Zen2 CPU's!

Currently using the Threadipper, I never had a problem! Eventually, I will upgrade to Threadripper 3!
