Question about my powerbook

Hello all

Really hoping someone has a solution, I own a powerbook, and up till now its been the perfect solution for all my needs. Recently though, I have been doing some thinking, and I was wondering if there are any possible ways to use my power book to monitor what my camera is shooting. I was thinking possibly either firewire or s video. anybody have any thoughts or ideas? Basically what I need is a way to disply my camera on the screen of my powerbook.

Has this ever been done before?

I really appreciate any help here.
 
A G4 Powerbook? For a Mac that old, your choices are pretty limited.

You can use an AJA Io, maybe an Io HD. There might be an option for the Decklink Multibridge. That's pretty much it.

If you had a MacBook Pro with an Express slot, you'd have more options, like the Matrox MXO2 line and the Io Express.
