Question about loading Soundtrack Pro Early??

So here's the deal... I've currently got a final directors cut full feature of (Johnny Virus - http://www.JohnnyVirus.com), sitting on my G5 while we await our sound designer and musical composers delivery... The film was edited with Final Cut 4.5 HD, however I've already purchased the new Final Cut Studio bundle.. My orginal plan was to keep my computer clean until the film is finished and outputted, then wipe out my computer and reinstall everything from the new bundle.. The problem is, I'm really wanting to start getting my Soundtrack Pro learn on :).. Would it be a problem to install Soundtrack Pro now at a seperate time from FCP 5, DVD Studio Pro 4 etc... I will also add that I do not plan on using Soundtrack Pro on the finished feature cut with 4.5 HD.. I just want to use it individually...

Thanks.

Try it and see what happens. I don't see why you can't install parts of the bundle independent from the other apps.

I don't think that it would be a problem, as I have installed stuff like that before (with FCP HD). But, it depends on how important those files are to you. While it should work fine, if you want to ensure that everything remains intact, then just wait and do a clean install. (I prefer doing a clean install, and would go that route.) Good luck.
