Question about Film Festivals

I would like to submit a short film to a local film festival. The entry form states "Prints or videos for presentation at the festival must arrive no later than the specified date." I know this is probably a silly question, but does that mean that you can submit the movie to the actual film festival as a dvd and it is played as a dvd in the festival?

Most festivals ask for a DVD when you submit the film for consideration, and if it's selected then they'll ask you for a DigiBeta / HDCAM / BetaSP / or film print of some kind . (though I've recently seen some festival listings allowing a blu-ray)

you can go to www.withoutabox.com and when you submit to a festival, you'll see it asks you to determine which format you plan to have ready if you are accepted.
