Question about DV Rack HD 2.0

[bmowell]

Hi,

I'm getting some conflicting information and have a couple of questions before I make a purchase:

Does DV Rack HD 2.0 work independently of Adobe Software?

Does it include capture ability for both SD and HD footage?

If it doesn't work independently of adobe software, what was the last version of DV rack that did?

Thanks,

Brad

Does DV Rack HD 2.0 work independently of Adobe Software?

Yes. All versions of DV Rack are independent of Adobe (or any other) software. But you can't buy it anymore. DV Rack was discontinued as a separate item and is now only available as Adobe OnLocation, included in the CS3 Production Suite.

Does it include capture ability for both SD and HD footage?

Yes, for DV, DVCPRO50, DVCPRO-HD and HDV.
