Question about Contax lenses...

Sorry if this has been covered before, but can someone tell me the differences between the Contax G, M and C/Y lenses? I'm thinking of making the upgrade to Contax lenses for the GH2/7D. What are the advantages/disadvantages of each? Are there any that are more compatable with Panasonic and Canon cameras?

You would want the C/Y mount lenses for use on a GH2 or 7D.
As a matter of fact I have a set I might be willing to sell.
18/20/25/28/35/45/50/60/85/100/135/200/300/ as well as Zeiss C/Y mount zooms.
