Question about Cavision Rods

Okay.....so I'm feeling really stupid here but I have a knack for puchasing things that don't work with my current setup (not with the DVX yet).

I have a Bogen 503 head and I'd like to get a set of rods to support my 35mm adapter but how are the rods attached so that it will work with my Bogen quick release? I can stare at my DVX on the tripod all day and it just isn't sinking in.

So I go to put my DVX away and take it off the tripod.......looking again I realize that the rods must come with a plate that attaches to the qr plate........right?

Can I just order a rod plate that will attach to the Bogen qr plate and then order rods separately?
