I'm looking for a writer who would be interested in writing a short and effective script for a 'late' Quest-Fest entry. It would be shot on the HF20 / HF200 & recorded with a Zoom H2 Boom Mic in the second or third week of June.
The genre's I'm looking to go toward's are fitting for the locations I have at hand:
I live in a rather rural area, lot's of scenery. Bay's, Shipwrecks, Cliffs, Watermills, Old Villiages, Graveyards, Castles, Ruins etc.

It doesn't sum up the area as a whole, though if anyone want's some more specific image's or any questions I'd be more than happy to show & discuss.
I would like to go down a rather historic and semi-fantasy type of genre. Perhap's dabbing over from the Hornblower / Pirates of the Caribbean side of storyline - to Vampires & Monsters. - I saw a crafted skull on Ebay that was made to have a fangs in them, this got me thinking.
If there were any mystical, supernatural, epic idea's I'd be open.
Message's in bottles, skulls in the sand. Blood trails on the bay, mist surrounded lighthouses..
There's a lot of lighthouses here to. Including 1 of 2 only remaining iron cast lighthouse's left in the world.
I do have a possible idea for a 'twist' ending & beginning, and not afraid (but cautious) to go against the 'rules' of writing/film. E.g - killing off 'younger' characters.
Characters
I'd like to have a young actress star in the short - around the age of 8-10. She's very pretty and very talented. It would be nice to give her something to really raise her bar to and have as a piece of work to keep.
So if there's any writer's out there who might be interested - I haven't worked alongside a writer before, it's a new experience to me. I normally try to write my own content, but would like to try this. So if you have the patients & interest, please get in touch.
There's no previous work of mine on hand to show, this is my first professional project I'm attempting. I'm looking for a simple & touching storyline, with some really spectacular shot's & effects.

Stunt's such as a simple sword fight / old french pistols are fine and easy to take care of..
A friend of mine is a professional swords..girl, and choreographer. French pistol, would be a nice prop to purchase i thought.
Also, there is an organization and chance I could get around 10-20 'pirate' looking extra's for the background if the script has a good enough reason for one. Hope this helps to.
