Quantum of Solace

I've liked most of Marc Forster's work, and at least we know Craig can play Bond...I think in being focused on his appearance, people overlooked other qualities he had, namely a great voice and the attitude it conveys. He probably SOUNDS most like Connery's Bond than any Bond since.

Agreed. He may turn out to be better than Brosnan. I grew up on Roger Moore but I think Connery was the best Bond. Followed by Dalton....kidding.

Kidding? I'd rank Dalton above Moore, Brosnan, and Lazenby, no sweat. And Brosnan's only good Bond flick was written for Dalton.

I loved the idea of Brosnan better than I liked Brosnan in the role. He was terrific, but not as good as I imagined he might be back when he was Remington Steele.

Craig is very, very good as Bond. The defibrillator scene notwithstanding, I thought Royale was better than almost any post-Connery pictures.

After DIE ANOTHER DAY and thinking WTF has happended to James Bond ...

Along comes D Craig.

This puts the Bourne series to shame. Super stoked on this film. And Craig is my all-time FAV Bond officially.

Baaaaaaaad Aaaaaassssssssssssssssssssssss

I was actually thinking that this latest Bond trailer looks a lot like it could be part of the Bourne series. Everyone is out to get him sort of thing... even some of the dialogue sounded familiar.

Looks good though, but I enjoyed the Bourne trilogy as well. :)

I'm not gonna hate on Brosnan, I think he did a great job but yes he only had one that I would consider really good. Goldeneye is one of the better Bond movies. Dalton is towards the top I think where Craig is #1 I think already...we'll see. The rough edge of Bond just seems to fit so much better to me.

Btw, thanks for the links, this trailer in 1080p is even sweeter :P

I gotta give the props to Connery because for the most part, he played the role of Bond first and most of the other guys since him, have been playing the role of Connery. I'll admit that while having no problem with Craig himself, I was a little skeptical before Casino Royale but he's proven that he has more than enough chops to play Bond.

The title Quantum Solace is a bit confusing. They might as well call it something like James Bond: Eternal Pythagorean Theorem.

Interesting. See, Remington Steele was the reason I could never take him seriously in the first place. He established himself (here at least) as a Bond Parody, so when they cast him, I was like: "Wha?" Lve Brosnan as an actor though.

I thought his Bond films were pretty terrible anyway. Just a low point in the franchise.

Love Craig.

But didn't he go renegade in the last one? I have to be honest, I really don't know what Casino Royale was about. After about 1.5 hrs of poker, I leaned over to my friend and said: "Wait, why is he playing poker?" :)

yeah, honestly though I like Craig, I found that movie extremely boring. I know he was jumping around like those guys who do it for a hobby. Then he plays poker for an hour and a half. Then the Italian building collapses into the water. But mainly I dozed off.
