Quality of Sennheiser MKE-600

How is the quality of the Sennheiser MKE-600 microphone?

I want to use this microphone to be used on a project, mounted on the camera - either C100 or C300. This sound is to be used as a reference. Will be using a MKH 416 in boom recording to a recorder. Plan to sync it in post. How is the quality of the MKE 600 compared to the MKH 416?
 
Look at the price difference. You get what you pay for. But it's decent low budget mic.
That said, an inexperienced boom op will screw-up the sound with either.

I have both and use both - when I use 600, it's exactly same way you plan (including same cameras). The difference in quality is in line with the difference in price.
 
It's better (and cheaper) than the K6/ME66, I understand, but not as good as the MKH 416.

You get what you pay for, but the MKE600 is excellent value for money.
