Quality loss outputting 3-chip footage to 1-chip camera?

I have recorded with a DVX-100, and then captured the footage on a Mac using FCP using a regular 1-chip MiniDV camera.
This doesnt seem to have changed the quality of the footage, and I was wondering if I can also output to a 1-chip camera without losing quality?
Is there going to be any changes in quality(picture resolution, audio) if I capture or output footage using a lower quality 1-chip camera as a deck?

Once it's on a tape it doesn't matter what camera you use to play it back.
It will always look great even if playing back from a non-DVX tape drive. :thumbsup:
