Had four shots at about 3pm yesterday and it kept me rocking in the edit suite till 6 am. i ****ing love coffee.. any one else have this addiction?

I have had a 5 shot Frappuchino every morning this week... been up till 2am and up at 6am for a week straight.
 
I don't drink coffee... at all :undecided just don't like it

And I'm up till 3-4 am everyday... just can't sleep before that time

hate it

maybe because of the nation's obsession with it, maybe because of the smell (probably both)... but I've never drank it and never plan to.

Yes; yes; errr you do know Moscow has a population of 16mil, right? :) But sure, if I see her sometime, I will.

ummmmmm esspresso! That is how I made it through film school, and all the idiotic sets I have been one. Addiction yes. Twelve steps no.

Man, that looks good. Did you pull those shots yourself?

I'm a fellow espresso junkie (or as my wife calls me, a "coffee snob") and have been learning to do it myself since we don't have a decent coffee shop around here.

By the way... this is my first post... I've been lurking for a while, wishin' I had a DVX. It's on my list. I recently bought a Sony PD170 (don't ban me!) thinking I mainly wanted to shoot weddings... but I've changed my direction a bit and really wish I had the DVX instead! One day....

nah that is straight from google images..

had another quad yesterday at about 4 pm and i was flying. but im spending too much at the local cafe.. got to get me an espresso maker.

Definitely worth doing (especially if you're a "do it yourself" kind of person). A good machine isn't cheap, but over time it will pay for itself. And it didn't take me long to make better espresso than most (all?) of my local shops (like I said, I can't find a good one around here). Fresh roasted coffee is key (and grinding it yourself). The only downside is it takes time to make it/clean up. It's not for everyone... my wife can't understand why I want to spend so much time making such a small drink.
