Hi There!
I just got a new computer, a Mac Pro, Quad-Core Intel Xeon, and installed FCP 6.
When I went to import P2 footage shot on a Panasonic HPX-300, it gave me that exclamation point after being idle for a couple minutes.
I went back to my old computer, and the footage imported just fine. So I'm sure it's not the footage, or the camera. It's got to be something with the new computer.
I tried deleting the FCP preferences file, emptying the trash, and restarting, and that didn't work.
Any other suggestions? I'd really like to ditch the old computer and only use the new one to import my P2 footage...
Thanks!
