I'm a newcomer to this (somewhat). so hopefully there's a simple explanation for the hell I've been putting myself thru the past 36 hours. I've tried everything in the book, but for some reason the compressed QTs (cleaner6.0) I'm making for my website won't buffer, one has to wait until the entire file is downloaded before the clip begins to play.
I've:
-re-installed Cleaner
-Made versions with the hint for streaming video checked, not checked, same goes with "autoplay in QT player", & always keeping "fast start, compressed headers" on.
-Exported from timeline of fcp as a QT, then using QT Conversion and checking the prepare for internet box.
-replaced the videos on the site with some old compressed QT's I had done a while back on the same cleaner 6 (they buffered, so the problem didn't involve http embedding issues)
-put a version of the new QTs on a friend's site and it still didn't buffer, so I'm assuming it's something I'm doing in Cleaner.
Does anyone have any suggestions? The older versions I did when I was using jaguar, now using jaguar.
