QT weakness. PLS Share experience

I'm starting compressing my outputs with QT so to have a .MOV files.
I really appreciate the clean image that QT can provide for our films (respect to the more liquid feelings that of WMV...) but I noticed that during the rendering QT engine HAS SIGNIFICANTLY weak points when working with images of leaves, trees especially during pans or travellings.
I noticed this even in PRO's works.
Is this true? has anybody any idea on how to solve this that seems to be a bug?

Fine moving detail is a problem for most compression. You need to find the codec that provides the best balance (size, speed of compression, quality, etc) for your needs.

If you haven't already, you might want to try two-pass VBR. This can take forever to encode, but can sometimes help squeeze the most image quality out at a certain bit rate.
