I've heard this is an alternative to cineform for editing HDV. Can it be used with vegas? If so, where do you get it? Any pitfalls?

Photo/Motion Jpeg is not lossless. Cineform is visually lossless. However, there is no reason to edit with anything other than .m2t, the native HDV format. Vegas works fine with it.

I have Vegas 6 and a pent4. I can't edit well in mp2. But I've heard motion jpeg is a poor man's alternative to cineform and am wondering how to implement it. Anyone?
