QT live capture and compression

Hi - This is probably not the ideal forum to ask this...but someone might know!

I need to be able to capture and compress footage from my DVX straight to stream compressed QuickTime. Does anyone know what software does this?

I've tried Sorenson Squeeze and Autodesk Clean but they all log footage and then you compress after.

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated!

I've used my HVX as a "web cam" both for MSN and iChat, if that's of any help...

cheers. I need (or rather want to) to compress really high quality (sort of 900kbps streams using the H.264 codec) but I want to do it on the fly so while it's capturing, it's creating the clip. Then the clip is simply published to the QuickTime Streaming Server and is ready for unicast access (on-demand opposed to live).

Quicktime Broadcast does the same thing but I really want to be able to pause the encode process so some stuff doesn't go on to the clip.

It's proving really hard to find software!!!
