QT is all WHACK!

I'm in 10.3.9, did the QT update, and now everything that has to do with QT is messed up. FCP's not so bad, but I just tried to use Compressor to encode a video for DVD, and what ended up getting encoded was the red 'Offline' screen for a clip that had NOTHING to do with what I wanted to encode. Also, my Movies folder (where I keep random QT files) won't open. Whenever I click on it in Finder, Finder thinks about it for a minutes, and then relaunches. I CAN see my Movies files from browser windows in other programs.

I'm going to do the standard Permissions repair and Trash Prefs next, but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced any of the sort.
 
i have 10.3.9 on my g4, but I only use it for dreamweaver and quicktime. I haven't had any problems with QT itself yet, but there are alot of other programs that rely on QT and it sounds like your having those problems. If anything maybe trash your current QT and go back to using the old version.
 
I used OnyX to repair permissions and I trashed the prefs and it seems that all is well now. Everytime a Pro update comes out...
