hi guys,
i´m trying to bring some quick time files from a mac to my pc on previously copied data dvds .
some of the files have just their names and don´t have the .mov on them. fine,i just copyed them to my hard drive and renamed them whith .mov .
but some are bigger than 2 GB and windows xp explorer recognize them as corrupt files. i think they are just too big. i´m in the country side of brazil now , far away from other macs at least that i know...
thanks in advance for any help

PC version of quicktime does not support the following formats:

DVCPROHD

HDV codec

If you captured any of these with Final cut pro, they will only work ON A MAC with the latest version of quicktime installed.

Apple does like to **** on Windows when it comes to Pro Video editing. They just want you to buy a Mac.

they are quick time dv ntsc, but it is windows who does not recognise them, maybe cause they are bigger than 2GB. thanks anyway

Get out a credit card of your choice, preferably one with lots of room, but if all else fails "Bill Me Later." Head over to store.apple.com.. Mac book pro or Mac pro? There's the true question. Need windows? You can load that on there too, what the heck.

Sorry for the spam. I make a wild hair post every morning and this is it today.
