It looks really nice imo, and I've wanted a slider for a while. I'm not sure what those metal things at the ends of the slider are though, any one know?!?

If its just sliding on top of the rails, I personally don't find it a flexible and safe solution as it runs the danger of tipping over. I would recommend you find a slider solution thats prevents the carriage from falling or tipping off via a counter slider underneath.

Unfortunately I had a hard time finding a supply in the usual US hardware stores (lowes,homedepot) on the HAFELE wheels which is common in Asia.
