PVC Pipe in Europe? (France) Sizes?

So here's an odd question. If I'm going to France and need some PVC pipe for dolly tracks, are the sizes the same as they are here? Obviously it would be metric equivalent, but do they have say the equivalent of 1.5" pipe? I need to know because I am making all my couplings and wheels and stuff before I go. Everything I have here is made to work with 1.5" diameter PVC.

You'd be looking for 38mm pipe. I think you'll need to find a website for "le Chateau Depeau" & search to see if that's a size they sell. It might make more sense to make your couplings there.
