pushing max tripod load?

i'm going to be renting the following rig:

HVX200
P+S Technik mini35
Support Rods
35mm zoom lens
mattebox
follow focus

I was considering throwing it all on my manfrotto, but i'm concerned because the legs can support 26 lbs, but the 501 head says it can only handle 13.3 lbs...

the hvx and mini35 together are 11lbs, and thats not even including the other stuff...

do i need to rent a sachtler or something? or is it possible to get by?

please help, you guys are the best

I have used a similar setting on a 501. The only problem is that with a 35mm adapter the HVX becomes very front heavy. So to use the 501 you would need to get a special plate to offset some of that weight toward the rear so that the whole rig can be balance better. In other word it can be done, but you would be better off renting a more capable tripod/head.
