Pure power DVC Pro HD

Am going to be editing a feature film shot on the Panasonic HVX200 at 1080i and using Sony Vegas 8 with the Raylight plug in.

What Spec of PC will be required for optimal playback during editing. What RAID setup will be needed? What Hard Diskdrives, processor, operating system etc?
Thanks in Advance

I'll give it a shot

Two SATA 3GB/sec drives in a Raid 0: that means 2 disks in a striped (high-performance) configuration, not absolutely necessary but definitely a plus.

Core 2 Duo or Dual AMD 64 processors, get the fastest you can afford, you will use it.

WinXP Service Pack 2 - the least troubled OS for right now

Also you need a PCI Express (PCIe) gaming type video card that has DirectX support, such as one with an nVidia or ATI chipset.

Raylight will actually work with nearly any computer system but to get real-time performace in the Green mode the processor and graphics card are important.
Green also requires the Penasonic P2 Viewer installed.

On a slower system you also have the option of writing to the P2 Card and playing back real-time through the camera.
