Purchasing Adobe overseas

[Jawa Ex Machina]

I wasn't sure whether to put this in the post production forum or whatever.

Here's the thing. I need to purchase CS5, and I'm looking at either the Production Premium or the Master Collection. Most likely the Production Premium.

The dilemma is, I live in Sweden, where the Production Premium costs 3,203.17 USD and the Master Collection costs 5,222.57 USD (including VAT).
Compare this to US prices, where the Production Premium costs 1,699.00 USD and the Master Collection costs 2,599.00 USD.

Has anyone here from Europe tried buying the Adobe package in the US?

I don't understand the huge price difference. You could always buy it from the US, but will amazon ship overseas on their US site? I don't know.
