Pulsing Lights

Hi ALL,

I am after some information, i am shooting a music video soon i want to use a hazer/smoke machine but have lights flashing on/off and pulsating what is the best way to do this?

its low budget too please let us know

You might visit some place like guitar center and look at the LED stage lights.
Or rent a flicker box with your current lights.
 
If you are looking to do lighting control for more than one event you cannot go wrong with a light-o-rama setup. Not shockingly expensive but the advantage is that with just one controller and a laptop you will be able to sequence up to 16 lights any way you want timed to music even. With more controlers you can do more lights up to well over 1000.
 
Yup i will mainly be having red heads on set.. So is it best to have a gaffer or could i do it myself. All i need is th elights to flash at different types and geled. Is there any special effects lights from DJ'S i could get. I am shooting canon 60d so i won't to keep away from lazers as they damage the sensor..
