Pulp?

Written on trees? Using crunchy style orange juice for ink?

I have no idea. What does pulp have to do with film or tape or digital?

Pulp fiction - back in the 30s and 40s, cheap magazines printed on cheap paper stock (where the pulp part comes from) filled with straight genre stories - action, adventure, western, war, horror, thriller, romance, detective, etc. Completely disposable. Kind of the TV of their time... and like TV, some of these stories and writers eventually became classics. Some of this stuff is assigned reading in college lit classes - in fancy harback versions that are in the literature section.

My guess is that Pulp Movies might be straight genre stuff made on a budget that might later be seen as classics... but right now appears to be disposable entertainment.

But, that's just a guess.
