Hey all,
I have some dvds that were recorded using a consumer dvd recorder/player. They play fine on my computer (windows 7) but when I copy the files over and try to import the .vob files into Premiere Pro CS5 or Edius Neo, they go all wonky on me. Some chapters play just fine but others are totally missing or corrupted.
The video was recorded to discs using a four hour record mode on 4.7gb media. I am guessing that the compression is weird which is why it will not import into any of my NLE's. I am experimenting with VLC right now.
Anybody have suggestions for a good program which might allow me to convert/demux the dvds for editing?
