I recently updated my Adobe software to CS5.5 from CS3. One of the things I was hoping it would be able to do is pulldown removal on Canon PF24 footage since Adobe claimed GPU accelerated pulldown removal for this release. It doesn't work properly on the Canon PF24 clips. I'm seeing lots every other frame as a duplicate. My guess is that it is applying the wrong cadence and I don't see any way to set it proper. After Effects has no issue with guessing the cadence properly. Anyone have any solutions? I'd really like to just drop the footage in and edit it without having to first convert it elsewhere.
