Pulldown help

Hey, I'm in the process of rendering my short film and i first rendered it as an avi. and captured to tape, but i don't see the 24p film look anymore. I know this has somthing to do with the pulldown but i just need somone to tell me the right settings to make so i don't loose that beautiful film look i get when i first press record :-(. Can anyone help me?

Like it has two pull-down options a (2-3) and a (2-3-3-2), whats are the diffrences? And does it make any diffrence to make your timeline in 24 frame rate? I just need to know all the right things to do to get the same look.
