I've tried to look up anything I can find on psychedelic or retro video effects and have come up with nothing. What I mean by psychedelic and retro effects is techniques like getting video distortion by hooking up your camera to a monitor and then filming the monitor and stuff like that. I don't have too much in mind as to what I'd like to find out, just a general curiosity of trying to find out about some cool diy tricks that were used in the 70s and 80s before after effects and computers were used like they are now.
Basically just want to get creative and find some inspiration. Anyone have any tips, tricks or an idea of where I can go to find out about this stuff?
